Fryer’s recent clients have focused on the shift to the consumerization of the patient and the impact and opportunities for healthcare delivery and engagement. Clients include:

– A startup applying blockchain technology to solve the Patient ID problem.
– A payment platform provider who reduced elective surgical costs by 25% by insulating providers and patients from payor claims and billing systems.
– A startup using FHIR technology to provide patient driven post acute arthroplasty care.

Working with Hartford Insurance and the University of Utah School of Medicine, Fryer founded a value based EHR company for ambulatory clinics that improved patient outcomes while reducing costs by 15%. He has worked in five startup companies with two exits. Fryer has brought four products from conception to market and he won Product of the Year in five countries. Previously Fryer developed DRG based reimbursement analytical models for hospital profitability at Baxter Healthcare.

Fryer served on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross and chaired the 2002 Olympics task force. He received his MBA in Systems & Analytics from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University.

Steve Littman has over 25 years’ experience in epidemiologic research, data analysis, information systems and health care consulting. He specializes in managed care strategic decision support services in the areas of medical cost analysis, premium revenue optimization & provider performance measurement, with particular expertise in Medicare & Medicaid risk adjustment.

Through innovative revenue optimization strategies, Littman helped several Medicare Advantage clients achieve premium revenue increases of 5-10%. He also assists organizations with business development and establishing strategic partnerships and has performed due diligence review and capabilities assessment in support of merger & acquisition transactions in the MCO and Healthcare IT vendor space.

Littman designed and developed data warehouse and decision support systems, business intelligence tools for risk adjustment and premium revenue optimization. In addition he created several custom analytic, reporting and workflow applications geared towards strategic data analysis and operational process improvement in the managed care industries.

He received his master’s degree in Public Health Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
